Payment gap calculator for Amazon DSPs

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type here is sent or saved.

For Amazon Delivery Service Partners (DSPs): type numbers you already know from last month's fleet invoice, your weekly route invoice and your timecards, and see a conservative estimate of the money worth checking, with every formula shown beside its result. It is free and needs no sign-up.

Fleet charges while vans were down

Owed when the charge is a rental; worth asking when it is a lease.

Count a day only if the van was grounded or in the shop most of that day.

Across the periods above.

From your fleet invoice.

Days in the invoice's billing period. 30 unless yours differs.

Other fleet lines

Charges your own van and repair records don't support.

Vans you returned, or unit numbers you don't recognize.

Per van.

AMP is Amazon's maintenance program.

Last month.

Route invoice

Your weekly route invoice against your rate card.

On your weekly route invoice.

What your rate card says a route pays.

Route payments divided by routes.

For example a fuel line that is there most weeks. Enter the total.

Timecards

At risk: your own costs to check. Nobody owes them.

From your timecard export.

A 13.5 hour shift is 1.5 over.

Total minutes where one person's shifts overlap.

SXT Ops uses $22.00 unless you change it.

150 percent is time and a half.

Downtime and rescues

Cost to watch, not money owed.

No default, because rates differ by station and service type.

Uses the hourly cost above.

Three fields start with the defaults SXT Ops itself uses: a 30-day billing period, an hourly cost of $22.00, and an overtime rate of 150 percent. Change them to yours.

Your estimate

Type the numbers you know. Each line appears once its numbers are filled in.

Fleet downtime
down periods × average days down × monthly charge per van ÷ days in the billing period. Rental share is owed; lease share is worth asking.
Retired or unknown vans
vans × their monthly charge. Owed.
AMP-covered repairs billed
repairs × average amount. Owed.
Repairs over the estimate
repairs × average overage. Owed.
Paid below the rate card
(rate card amount − average paid) × routes a week × 4. Owed, only when the rate card is higher.
Missing expected lines
the missing total, once. Worth asking.
Long shifts
shifts × hours over 12 × hourly cost × overtime rate × 4. At risk.
Overlapping punches
minutes ÷ 60 × hourly cost × 4. At risk.
Downtime
routes lost or covered × revenue per route. Cost to watch.
Rescues
rescues a week × driver hours per rescue × hourly cost × 4. Cost to watch.

This is an estimate from the numbers you typed. It is not a promise that any amount will be credited. Disputes are decided by Amazon or your fleet provider.

Assumptions

  • Weekly numbers are multiplied by 4 to make a month, never 4.33.
  • Down periods under 3 days are left out, because SXT Ops's own check skips them and short outages are rarely credited.
  • Every amount is rounded down to whole dollars.
  • Hours are priced at your hourly cost, with long-shift hours at your overtime rate.

What this can't see

  • Whether your contract allows the credit.
  • Whether a charge was already credited.
  • Whether the van was actually down on the provider's records.
  • Anything not listed above.
