SXT Ops and Hera compared

Updated

Hera and SXT Ops are both operations software for Amazon Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), and both work from the report files a DSP downloads rather than from an extension or a shared Amazon login. They differ in what they do with those files: Hera leans toward driver performance, coaching and rostering, and SXT Ops toward vans, repair orders, invoice checks and the paperwork around each associate. This page sets out both, with a source and a checked date for every fact about Hera.

Facts about other products checked

Short answer

If your main need is scorecard performance, automated coaching messages and daily rostering, look closely at Hera. If your main need is getting grounded vans back, checking fleet and route invoices against your own records, and keeping onboarding and people records in order, SXT Ops was built for that. Both have free trials, so the cheapest way to decide is to run your own week of files through each.

How Amazon data gets in

On this point the two products take the same approach.

  • Hera: Hera's FAQ says it uses no browser extensions and no scraping.

There are no browser extensions, no scraping, and nothing bolted onto Amazon's systems.

  • Hera: Hera's FAQ says you upload the weekly scorecard PDF and the POD report, and that it takes the EOC, PPS, CDF customer feedback and Amazon daily roster files.

  • Hera: Hera's FAQ says its AI reads the weekly scorecard PDF, so nobody retypes it. SXT Ops doesn't take PDFs; it imports the scorecard as CSV or Excel.

SXT Ops takes rosters, weekly scorecards, route invoices, fleet invoices, payroll timecards and Cortex route sheets as CSV or Excel files, sent by upload, email forward, an upload link from a folder, or the SXT Ops Companion extension for Chrome. The extension has no access to any web page; Chrome lists no site access for it. SXT Ops never signs in to Amazon and never asks for an Amazon password.

Scorecards, safety data and coaching

  • Hera: Hera's FAQ says it takes the daily Netradyne alerts export and the daily eDriving Mentor file, which SXT Ops doesn't take yet (Planned).

  • Hera: Hera's FAQ says coaching messages are sent automatically by text and email at a daily time you pick, only to associates working that day.

    Source: www.hera.app/faq, checked

SXT Ops imports the weekly scorecard, keeps each associate's history on their record, and shows drivers their own scorecard in the driver app unless owners hide it. After each import it lists people who cross the coaching rules you set, and a person decides whether to create a coaching item. It doesn't send coaching messages automatically.

Rostering and scheduling

  • Hera: Hera's FAQ lists daily rostering, attendance, standbys and rescues, and says its Schedule Builder begins beta testing in October 2026; SXT Ops doesn't have weekly scheduling yet (Planned).

    Source: www.hera.app/faq, checked

  • Hera: Hera's scheduling page describes importing routes from Amazon, a daily roster with vehicles, staging and breaks, and rules for minimum and maximum hours; SXT Ops doesn't offer shift rules or weekly schedules yet (Planned).

    Source: www.hera.app/associate-scheduling, checked

SXT Ops has a wave board for the day: waves, routes, vans, staging and bag order, built by dispatch or imported from a Cortex route sheet, and published to drivers. A grounded van can't be assigned. It has a daily attendance board. Weekly scheduling is Planned, not available yet.

Fleet, repair orders and invoice checks

SXT Ops tracks every repair order from estimate to back in service, checks the estimate's labor rate against the vendor's approved rate, requires your team to record AMP coverage before approval, and keeps a 30-minute follow-up timer on approvals. On the Station + Back office plan it checks fleet invoices against van status and repair orders, and route invoices against your rate card, with the evidence for each finding and a dispute draft with a CSV. SXT Ops never files a dispute.

  • Hera: Hera's FAQ says it tracks vehicle statuses, gas cards and odometer readings, and sends maintenance reminders by mileage or date.

Hera tracks vehicle statuses, gas cards, odometer readings with stale-reading warnings, tire pressure, and maintenance reminders by mileage or date.

We haven't found invoice checks described on the Hera pages we read; if they exist, the corrections address below is the way to tell us.

Security

  • Hera: Hera's FAQ states where its data is hosted and how it is protected.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest on Amazon Web Services.

SXT Ops publishes exactly what is and isn't protected beyond HTTPS and role limits, including which records are stored without an extra layer. Read it on the security page rather than in a summary here.

Pricing

  • Hera: $9 per active driver a month after a 45-day trial, every feature included, no tiers and no per-module add-ons, billed in arrears.

  • Hera: Hera's pricing page offers military veteran DSP owners 10 percent off.

SXT Ops is priced per station with unlimited users: Station $399 a month, Station + Back office $699, and $199 for each extra station. The first 10 DSPs get 90 days free as founding pilots; after that new DSPs get a 45-day free trial. Neither needs a payment method.

40$360$399$699
80$720$399$699

At 40 drivers Hera costs less than either SXT Ops plan. At 80 drivers on one station, both SXT Ops plans cost less. See the pricing comparison for more headcounts and other products.

Switching

Because both products work from the same kind of files, switching mostly means sending your next week's reports to the other product and mapping each report once. In SXT Ops every list downloads as CSV from its screen, including while an account is read-only, if you later leave.

Where Hera is ahead

  • Automated coaching messages by text and email at a time you choose. SXT Ops suggests coaching and a person creates it.
  • Rostering with standbys and rescues, and a Schedule Builder that Hera says begins beta testing in October 2026, where SXT Ops doesn't have weekly scheduling yet.
  • More performance files today: Hera reads the scorecard PDF and the daily Netradyne and Mentor files, while SXT Ops takes the scorecard as CSV or Excel and doesn't take the Netradyne or Mentor files yet.
  • A one-line security statement in its FAQ: "Data is encrypted in transit and at rest on Amazon Web Services." SXT Ops states which records have that extra layer and which don't.
  • Maintenance reminders by mileage or date. Preventive maintenance schedules in SXT Ops are in development, not available yet.
  • Lower cost for a single station with fewer than about 44 active drivers.

Where SXT Ops is different

  • Fleet invoice and route invoice checks with the dollar evidence for each finding and a dispute draft, tracked until the credit posts.
  • Repair orders with a labor rate check against each vendor's approved rate, AMP coverage required before approval, and a follow-up timer.
  • A failed pre-trip safety item grounds the van and opens a repair order, and a grounded van can't be assigned on the wave board.
  • Per-station pricing with unlimited users, so the price doesn't move with headcount.
  • Onboarding and offboarding checklists with an owner per step, and a claim file export for unemployment claims.
